"What do I like about Gaslight Pointe (marina)? Plenty! No it's not the view, but it's great (my own personal boat show on the weekends). Not the docks, although their fine too. It's two things that others may overlook;
First of all it's room to manuever. At my last marina, I had a 30' boat in a 30' slip and there was maybe 40' of open water until the next boat behind me. That's adequate if you have a power boat or a sail boat with a bow thruster. If your like most of us sail boaters without a thruster, maneuvering on a blustery day can be exasperating due to lack of space to maneuver. Here at Gaslight Pointe Marina I have plenty of room to go around again if I need to. Secondly, management here is great and very attentive to what I say and need. He (manager) monitors the facility and everyone's boats to prevent problems from occurring so when I ask after a bad storm if everything is okay, I know that it is."

Excellent harbor protection, we access to the lake, great town for restaurants, floating docks, easy parking, clean shower and restroom facitilities, dock management has an open ear to boaters requests and suggestions, excellent social events and never faced with overcrowding.
